COMMON QUESTIONS

Wayfinding and compliance signage questions we hear often

Wayfinding signage helps people navigate a space. It tells them where to go, what is in each area and how to move through a building or site efficiently. Compliance signage is required by law or regulation. It covers things like emergency exits, fire equipment locations, safety warnings, restricted access zones and mandatory notices. Many projects need both and we supply and install across both categories.

Any space where people need to find their way around benefits from wayfinding signage. Common examples include office buildings, medical centres, hospitals, schools, retail centres, construction sites, warehouses and government facilities. The more complex the space or the higher the foot traffic, the more important clear wayfinding becomes for both the visitor experience and the efficiency of the operation.

Yes. Many compliance signs including emergency exit signs, fire safety signs and hazard warnings are required to meet Australian Standards. The two primary standards that apply to safety and compliance signage are AS 1319 which covers safety signs in workplaces, and AS/NZS 2293 which covers emergency escape lighting and exit signs. We supply signs that meet the relevant standards for the sign type and environment.

Yes. Wayfinding systems are designed to be updated over time. Individual panels, inserts and directional signs can be replaced without replacing the entire system. We supply modular systems where appropriate so that future updates are straightforward and cost effective rather than requiring a full reinstall.

Yes. We supply construction site safety signs, restricted access signs, mandatory PPE notices, hazard warnings and project identification signage. Construction signage often has tight timelines and we are experienced working within site schedules.

READY TO GET STARTED?

Let us get your signage sorted properly

Tell us about your project and we will give you an accurate quote and a clear plan. The more detail you share about your project, your location, your sign type, your timeline and your brand assets - the more accurate and useful your quote will be.

COMPLIANCE SIGNS

Describe your facility and what signage you need. Is it a new fitout or an update to existing signs? Let us know the type of premises, approximate number of signs needed. Example: "Medical centre, ground floor fitout, need room identification signs, accessible toilet signage and reception directional signs, approx 12 signs total."
A photo of your shopfront, wall, vehicle or signage location helps us understand the job. A quick phone photo is perfectly fine. This is optional but speeds up your quote.
Upload your logo if you have it, any existing brand files, or screenshots of signage styles you like the look of.

We work best with businesses that are ready to move forward. If that is you, book your site visit.
